Mr Poopers Day Out

I want to have a house exactly like this one day. On a lake. In Montana or Idaho. Why Idaho you say? Beacause they have one of the smallest populations in the country & that’s very important to me & Matt. See we like people, we certainly do, we just do not like to be nieghbors with them.  Matt and I are private people & we love being in the solitude of nature. Thus the no neighbors thing.

The house that we will some day buy or build will have a real homey “been there for ever, part of the land” feel.  It will be large though. We plan on having this house be able to accomodate everyone who would visit us at once.  Family has become very much more important since we got married. Don’t know what changed, maybe it was that Matt’s family was so amazing & full of love? But something deffinately changed.

Notice that screened in portch? Very important :D

One of my Favorites

You’d probably think that one of my favorite pictures of all time would be something more awe inspiring. Something that showed my technical abilities. Nope.

I love the way that they are smiling together. I love the red shirts & I loved that breakfast. The whole family was at our house & everything was amazing. Ally is one of the best mothers in the whole wide world, the grandparents doted, Matt cooked & we all loved. Matt and I are so in love with this little girl, even when she was screaming at 12am.

In this picture she took time out of her “I don’t want to go to bed screaming” to give me a big smile.

Even chewing on “Frog Zappa” (her daddy’s a music buff) she gives you the happy eyes.

Hopefully after the operation & the fertility drugs I will be able to add my own pictures.

Backlit

I really like this photo. I also have some major problems with it. I love the colors & the rays & the back lighting.  I do not however like how I left the light house off to the right instead of centering it. I wish that I would have centered the light house & had the sun rays cascading out from that center point. Live & learn. It’s hard taking back lit pictures because they never turn out the way you see them in real life. My camera saw much more color & a lot less detail than I had in real life with my own two eyes.  I’m still contemplating photoshipping out some of the tree on the right next to the light house & some of the building on the left. I wish there would have been some more cloud in the upper right hand corner of the picture & am debating where or not I should put one there.  All in all, it’s not a bad picture. I like elements but there are deffinately things I wish I could change. I feel it could be way more visually intresting if I had thought a little bit more about it before letting the sun go down.

Photo a Day

I am going to post a daily photo from here on out & why I took it in the first place. I’m deffinately going to pay more attention to this blog from here on out

PHOTOS

God I wish I was smart enough to get those cage marks photo shopped out. I love the expression on both tigers faces. THIS is why I should carry a film camera cause I know how to get them out with film!

This tree is totally amazing. It’s huge & the root structure is just stunning.  There were around 5 such trees around the Edison estate in Fort Myers.

The way to get to the beach from our hotel. God I love this shot. The colors & the comp really impress me lol Who would have thought that I was just messing around at dusk.
