Matt has finally figured out how to get the interwebs on our computers at the parents house. Which means that I will be finally able to upload pictures this weekend on to flickr & ravelry & my dear dear pictureless blog. I have so MUCH to show you!!!
Last night was knit night at Anacapa Fine yarns & the MIL & headed to it. Love it as always. Bought some new us7 needles to replace the ones that I had broke on Mr GreenJeans, finished my wavy wrap (just need to block this weekend!), got a nother stitch counter so I can simultaneously work on Matt’s cabled sweater & the lace wrap that I am doing for my MIL for christmas and…..
I got some Debbie Bliss Cashmerino. In Garent.
I’m going to make Kent’s moss stitch beret. So cute, so posh. LOVE. Plus I’ve learned that I DO need a hat at the beach thank you very much. It’s cold down there! How did I forget?
This weekend I will be blocking both the wavy wrap & the clapotios. I also hope to finish the beret & get a good bit done on Mr Greenjeans. I need to sew the zipper into Roam & take some pictures of that and start the lacy wrap for my MIL (it needs a better name!!!).
So yeah, busy but wonderful weekend of knitting ahead. I think I am going to knit some fake isle mitts for my friend Shawna for christmas & a pair of fetching for my cousin. To many lovely northerns I know are allergic to wool! Where is the justice?! Thankfully camel is not apart of the sheep family & is claimed to be hypo-allergenic. Ally you reading that?! Camel is so beautiful & yummy & feels like cashmere! But it’s 30 bucks for 300yd. But it may just be worth it.
