I figured that it was my fault for probably being off on row gage. The only sweater that was a true & terrible disaster was my attempt at the Thermal. I love that sweater, but man, I'm going to have to knit it in at least sport weight if not aran because my gage caused me to knit (after the 2nd frogging) the 40 inch bust. I WISH I was a 40 inch bust.

I will finish knitting the other sleeve next week probably & get it seamed & blocked properly. I love this to much to frog it.

This is why I usually always look at the pattern measurements before I start knitting so I know right away what I need to change. :)

Oh no! If I may play devil's advocate, I think that designers make garments that fit a certain body type. If you're taller/shorter, have longer/shorter arms, are high/low waisted, if you deviate in any way from their "standard", then you get an ill-fitting garment. I've designed sweaters myself and I've struggled with the issue of customizing a pattern so that it will fit everyone. I'm sure you'll be able to modify the sleeves if need be!
And, yay, the pattern that I voted for won! :)
