Duh-OIL-Ly, cause I’m cool like that.

I told you I was knitting a doily. In fact, I knit two. I have to say this was a completely fun experience though I have no idea what I will ever use it for. I am now determinded to at one point make a table cloth in a bright bright linen.

‘Ello, I am very red.

I’m sure that if you look at this god enough you will spot some mistakes as I can see them quite easily.

Yarn: Louet Merlin 2 skiens

Needles: Size 6 circ’s & DPN’s

Pattern: I don’t remember which one, but it’s from Yarnover.com

I had a blast knitting this. I deffinately crave more & will be using some more stash yarn to complete this task.

I will have to admit that I was not able to finish the doily for I ran out of yarn & was not about to go buy more for something like this. I also have to pull out the bound off edge as it’s to tight & wants to curl badly (which makes me sad as there are 300+ stitches here).

But I like it. I like that it’s a DK weight & is machine washable & it’s red. I’m sure that I will actually find some good use for this in the future. The linen fiber did like to split from the merino but I can forgive that as the two diffrent fibers are really neat together. It would probably also help if I was knitting on needles NOT chewed horribly by cats.

Tomorrow I will show you what this became.

It’s beautiful. I love the color. Was it complicated?

Not in the least. It starts with 6 stitches, can’t beat that! :) Go to Yarnover.com & see all the lovelies they have there :)
