Today I made an appointment for next monday with an acupuncturist specializing in infertility. I’m feeling a little sense of hope creep back in, but trying to remain cooly realistic about the whole situation. There are things out there that I can’t explain and if my own OBGYN couldn’t explain properly how clomid is supposed to make women ovulate then I think getting stuck with a few needles isn’t going to hurt anything.
Guess we will see.

Good luck, I’m thinking good thoughts for you

I don’t really know anything about Clomid, but I found this entry on Wikipedia that explains how it works:

Good luck with the new treatment!

Thanks!
I’m actually a bit excited about this. I guess in the end it probably works about as good as anything else.
I just wonder WHERE they stick the needles!

Hi! I’m back!
Hey, I remember hearing on The Biggest Loser that losing weight can also help with fertility problems. Another reason why we need to celebrate your progress!!

A friend of mine had amazing results with Acupunture, they were going to do a clostomy (sp?) cause things were not working, she went to acupunture and he gave her herbs and pins. She is now regular and no clostomy for her! Amazing! So I too will think good thoughts for you. I just wonder if it will work for losing weight, if so I want to try.
