I bring to you another knit to stave off my nervous breakdown from packing. This is the easiest hat to knit and the results look super complicated. I love it so much.
I’m going to write up a quick pattern “how to” for you all right here, right now. Ready?
Get yourself two worsted variegated yarns each ranging from 90-110 yards each. Get yourself a US Size 9 16″ circular knitting needle (or if you love your DPN’s get those). Cast on 80 stitches with one yarn which we will from now on call the Main Color (MC). Join in the round and k1 in MC. Then (and here comes the tricky part) k the next st in your second yarn color which we will from here on call the Contrasting Color (CC). So you are going to do as follows: *K1 MC, K1 CC; rep from *
You are going to do this until you almost run out of yarn, you are then going to bind off and stitch the top of your tube closed.
Now that you have your super complicated super awesome tube you are going to flip this sucker inside out. Now for the super awesome mind blowingly complicated direction: sew one corner to the other (just at the tips) this causes the neato fold.
You now have your super awesome hat that looks like you used 7 million colors and some crazy complicated chart when in fact you just knit the most brainless tube ever.
I hope you all enjoy this totally brainless fun hat. The possibilities are totally endless and the colors are so much fun!
